Leg Lamp Christmas Story

The leg lamp Christmas Story refers to the famous scene from the film, ‘A Christmas Story’, in which father wins a lamp with its leg having the shape of the leg of a woman. This becomes one of the most significant humorous scenes of the film that got released in 1983.

The leg lamp Christmas Story is about the series of hilarious events that happens in the Parker’s family with the leg lamp at home.
The leg lamp that is an achievement for Mr. Parker becomes a nightmare for Mrs. Parker. The infamous leg lamp Christmas story of ‘A Christmas Story’ might not be liked by all of us, but the film is almost a holiday tradition of every Christmas season. Almost every television movie channel screens the film at the time of Christmas and almost every family enjoys watching it.

The film is about the kid Ralphie Parker who only wants an official Red Ryder, carbine action BB gun this Christmas. Every one tells him that he will shoot his eye out and this forms the storyline of ‘A Christmas story’. The story actually begins with this desire of the little boy who tries very hard to get what he really wants for Christmas.

Even Santa refuses to gift him the gun with the same response as everybody else that he will shoot his eye out. Still he keeps the hope and expects that a surprise may be in store for him.

It is a story about a man reminiscing a Christmas childhood memory, his determination to get a Red Ryder BB gun, a little brother who doesn’t eat, the school bully that make their lives hell, the leg lamp sequence and the like.

All these aforementioned little things bound together with loosely connected humors, be it the repetitive reminder to Ralphie that he will shoot his eye out or the Leg Lamp sequence, make ‘A Christmas Story’ a memorable film.
