Craft Christmas Decorations

Christmas calls for celebration and merriment. Christmas is the time when folks are at their creative best as you have all the time in the world to indulge in experimentation. Things seem to get merrier as the holiday season coincides with the festivities and when would you find the stores loaded with heapsful of craft supplies other than at Christmas. Festive decoration forms an integral part of the holiday traditions and it’s a near impossible prospect to think of Christmas without decorating the Christmas tree, lawn,

garden or the mantelpiece. Anything lovely appeals to our senses and soothes our minds and soul. One would rarely come across a person who doesn’t appreciate beauty and its associated bounties. But many a times our craving for the best décor pieces in town takes up a large chunk of our festive expenses resulting in an expenditure that goes way overboard than our expected estimation. This is the time when we indulge in crafts. Craft Christmas decorations are easy to get by and can also be made out of recyclable materials that are normally relegated as disposables in the households.

Ornaments, lights, nativity scenes and showers are few of the most important things on which we try out our artistic skills. Craft Decorations can range from embellishments on the gift bags, gift-wraps, tree ornaments to the dinner table nameplates.

Christmas Thanksgiving dinner forms an integral part of the holiday traditions. Pep up your dinner table with dinner nameplates and make each of your guests feel special. All you require are Paper cone water cups or construction paper, Clear or double-sided tape, White and gold paper, Plastic gems, Green acrylic paint, Glitter and normal glue, Scissors, Pen or marker.

If you are using cups, paint them with green color and let it dry for 10 minutes. If you are using construction paper roll it into cones, tape the seams and then trim the bottoms so that they sit evenly. Decorate the trees with glitter glue and plastic gem ornaments. Cut out different-size stars cut from the white and gold paper (these should be of a bigger size) and write the same guest's name on two of the stars. Apply glue on the blank sides of the stars and paste them atop the trees. Your Dinner nameplates are ready to rock.
