Christmas Trees are an integral part of the festive season. Christmas would seem way too bland if Christmas Trees are missing from the festive backdrop. Decorating the Christmas tree adds a festive charm to the whole atmosphere and kids and adults alike wait all year round for the fag end of the year to arrive cause this is the time when they get to decorate their favorite Christmas Tree with ornaments of their choice. But instead of cutting down a real Christmas tree we can compensate the loss by taking a little time out and crafting one with our own hands. Most of the craft books have a section dedicated to Christmas Tree Crafts.

If time is a constraint and if you are all tied up with your festive preparation, which leaves no room for you to visit a craft store, get hold of a magazine cutting. For your convenience, we are providing you with a simple procedure of making a fake Christmas tree, which would look more realistic than the real.
All you require are a printer, paper, some crayons, scissors and glue. Print out the template of your choice and color or paint the pieces. Cut out the template pieces. Glue eyes, eyebrows, nose to the tree. This whole structure can be pasted on to a plain wrapping paper to make personalized gift-wrap or onto the front of a large piece of construction paper to make a card. This is easy to implement and does not require parental supervision. You can get your kids to make bells, stars, gift wrap ornaments for the tree all out of stuffs that remain as extras in the household.
