| What better way to adorn your artificial Christmas tree than with colorful Christmas birds ornaments on every branch of the tree!
Nothing can look more authentic and natural on Christmas trees than birds.
Christmas bird ornaments can be made easily with your skilful approach.
Here is a method:

Materials:
- Scissors
- Cardinal or dove template
- 2 (7-inch) squares of red or white felt
- Fabric glue
- 12 inches of clear fishing line
- Fake holly sprig (available at craft stores), cut into a 2-inch length
- 2 small black beads or a permanent marker
Steps:
- Take a Print out of cardinal or dove template from the Internet.
- Cut two similar bird shapes from the felt squares.
- Apply a thin layer of glue to the body of one of the cutouts. Do not apply the glue on the wing.
- Knot the ends of the fishing line to create a loop.
- Put the knot on the glued body of one of the cutouts and firmly press the second cutout onto the first, sandwiching the fishing line.
- Leave it to dry for about 15 minutes.
- Poke a tiny hole in the beak using a pair of scissors.
- Now, push a holly sprig into the hole by passing it through the hole so that the bird appears to be carrying the twig in its beak.
- Use beads for making the eyes of bird. Attach it with fabric glue or draw them on with a permanent marker for ease.
