Here are some Christmas Art Projects for Kids:
Stick Christmas Star
Things you need:
Craft sticks,
Hot melt glue and gems
Buttons or other decorative items
Ribbon.
Steps:
Glue the sticks together to form a star shape.
Paint the star if you aren't using the colored craft sticks.
Glue on beads, buttons, jewels, and other decorative items, or use glitter glue to decorate your stars.
Glue a ribbon loop to the back of the star so you will be able to hang in on your Christmas tree
Peppermint Candy Frame
Things you need:
Peppermint Candies
Jumbo craft sticks and tacky glue
Card board and a photograph or drawing to put in the frame
Steps:
Glue four jumbo craft sticks together to form a square.
Turn the picture so it is facing you.
Glue peppermint candies all the way around the edge.
Glue a picture backed with cardboard on the back of the craft stick frame.
Cut out a stand and glue it to the back.
Ice Cream Cone Christmas Tree Craft.
Things you need:
Sugar cones, green frosting,
Small candy
Cake decorating toppings or sprinkles
Paper plates.
Steps:
Turn the cone upside down on a paper plate
Cover the entire cone with green frosting.
Decorate the tree with candy and toppings.
Pine Cone CD Christmas Tree
Things you need:
Large Pine Cones
Beads
Hot melted glue
Star for the top,
Green paint, white paint and CD.
Steps:
Paint the Pine Cone green and let it dry.
Paint white at the tips to look like snow if you would like
Glue the pine cone to the CD with hot melt glue
Paint on a thin layer of glue with a paint brush
Sprinkle on white glitter. It looks just like snow on an ice pond.
Glue various sizes, shapes, and colors of beads onto the pine cones.
